Hello,

I have tried to re-activate my old QNAP TS209 NAS, but so far without
success.
The NAS system was broken (it did not boot any more) after I was trying to
flash the QNAP recovery software. Therefore, I am trying to flash the
original QNAP firmware using the serial header as described in the webpage
from Martin Michlmayr https://cyrius.com/debian/orion/qnap/ts-209/uboot/

However, the TFTP file transfer starts and then always stalls at 12% of a
95 Mbyte file.
The error is narrowed down to QNAP U-Boot since I have already tried to use
different computers for the serial communications as well as different
communication programs and TFTP servers.

I have looked at the commands available from U-Boot.
Resetting the environment variables with resetenv before starting tftp did
not improve the result.

Before trashing the entire NAS box, I wanted to ask on this list if
somebody has an idea what else I could try to flash the firmware. I am not
familiar with U-Boot, but willing to learn and to give it a try.

QNAP TS209 is running on a Marvell board with U-Boot 1.1.1, Marvell version
1.11.2.

Thank you.
Greetings,
Rainer
