In other words, this happens when you are transfering stuff through the network and hitting storage. I'm using a variant of the hardware mentioned, but mine runs the same CPU on the Linkstation LS-WVL, which is 256MB ram, not 128M as the one reported. I'm tempted to guess this occurs on mostly everyone running kirkwoods. Is there a way to mitigate this?
