Well I've tried and failed to install using the USB HD mounted on this machine, I got on OK after being pointed to the spelling mistake in "wheezy" to running MAKEDEV generic, but loading a kernel from the repo with apt-get would have put it in the wrong place, so I stopped before hosing this machine. So went back to downloading the kirkwood.debian-wheezy.sh and running it, it got to exactly the same place and failed with invalid option as above. I think I've been here before, as Arch is downloadable as a tarball and creates all the directories. But I'd prefer to use a OS that I know, and I'm sorta using already as Mint is an offshoot of debian ish. Is this attempt to load Debian doomed from the start , or is there a similar install method similar to Arch from a tarball, or something that will run on the pogopig to install. ??????? -- -- Best wishes /73 Richard Bown Email : rich...@g8jvm.com HTTP : http://www.g8jvm.com nil carborundum a illegitemis ################################################################################## Ham Call G8JVM .
