It seems to work! It has successfully completed a mkfs and it's now on 
it's 1000 minutes recovery run. After the recovery I'll torture the 
filesystem severely to make sure the lot doesn't fall apart after all.

When I'm done I'll post the results on this list. Thanks again for the
