This suggests that something is wrong with the Ethernet initialization or do you really have 10 Mb/s only? Maybe they moved Ethernet to a different address and we need a machine ID for the OpenRD-Ultimate plus its own init code. I don't know anything about the OpenRD-Ultimate so I suggest you ask about this on the http://groups.google.com/group/openrd list (employees from the OpenRD manufacturer are subscribed to and active on the list).
