I'm running Debian lenny on a Thecus N2100. All is fine, except for one issue, I cannot control the fan in any manner.
It would be nice to shut it off at times, as my one hard drive seems to run quite cool under normal use. I followed the instructions on the Thecus N2100/Installing Debian page, but no matter what I do, the fan runs at full speed. /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-002e/pwm1, (and pwm2) already had values of zero before I made any changes. So, echo 0 > /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-002e/pwm2 echo 0 > /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-002e/pwm1 has no affect on fan operation. Is something missing in a lenny install, or am I overlooking some detail? -- Al -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
