the version control system of this project is mercurial but you can get
a tar.gz snapshot just by clicking on the "gz" hyperlink on the top of
the page: http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-kernel

mercurial is a bit user friendly for the ones who don't know it yet ;-)
