I think it would be something like this: UUID=526d869d-7760-40a4-9a27-759cc8242aa7 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1 All in one line, so ignore any line breaks added by your mail client. The line was copied from /etc/fstab on my desktop running Ubuntu, but should work the same in Debian.
