Oops, off list. Did you install those packages before or after mysql-server showed problems? I don't know if eabi shows up in the uname -a string. How did you install debian on your slug? Did you just use the debian etch installer image? In other words, did you follow the instructions on this (http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/) page? Which image did you download from this (http://www.slug-firmware.net/) page: the debian/nslu2 one or the Experimental Unstable Unsupported Alpha Release?
