Do you really want to reinstall?
Yes, I really want to reinstall. I am developing in my work a solution based on nslu2. I REALLY want to reinstall my nslu2 and others :)
If you do want to reinstall, I would reload the original Linksys firmware onto the NSLU2, and use the web interface to ensure that it is configured to use DHCP. Then, load the image from www.slug-firmware.net (don't use the image from people.debian.org).
I don`t understand as that could solve the problem. I load firmware using upslug2 and the process finishes successfully. It is rare that with the version rc1 I can arrive until the screen of selection of mirror, but with the version rc2 is not able to connect by ssh not even. What program (e.g. upslug2) are you using to upload the images to your NSLU2? I am using the version available at the moment in ubuntu edgy. Also, do you have any other network adapters attached to the NSLU2? For instance, a USB to Ethernet adapter or a USB to Wifi adapter? Nslu2 has connected the network cable and power. Nothing else.
