The sound hardware is more or less the same in the RiscPC and ARM7500. They both use the Acorn `VIDC20' macrocell. That said, the CLPS7500 does have different clocking arrangements and I thought I'd succeeded in making 44.1kHz work in the past; the driver might just need a bit more twiddling. p.
