Hi, the bzip2 on my Acorn RiscPC running Debian can not decompress .bz2 archives anymore, it reports always CRC errors. It can, strange as it is, decompress archives created by itself without problems.
I got new source code for bzip2 (0.9.5) and compiled it. It passed its own self-tests but the problem is still the same. Also I can not install any .deb anymore, which may be related to this problem. Can anyone help with this problem? Thank you very much! Peter Teichmann
