Package: ssl-cert Version: 1.1.0 Severity: grave Tags: patch Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, The default (as described on make-ssl-cert(8)) behavior of make-ssl-cert uses the first argument for both the template and the output file. This makes the user either not being able to create the certificate, or to overwriting the template with the -f option. The suggested patch shifts the arguments, like it is done on other parts of the script. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=gl_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=gl_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ssl-cert depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.75 ii openssl 1.1.1k-1
