L.S., Just sending this email to prevent anyone having to go through the same thing as I just did. We just upgraded to mysql-server (4.1.14-6) and php5 (5.0.5-3) and mysql was not working with the message: "Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect()" To solution is very simple, it appeared that mysql extention is not enabled by default just uncomment: extension=mysql.so in /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini gr, Robert
