Can the two of your try the previous libmm11 package (1.1.3-6.1) from here:
http://security.debian.org/debian-security/pool/updates/main/m/mm/ ... and let me know if downgrading libmm11 clears up your problems? As the only two users so far to have reported this issue (and I haven't seen it on my own machines either) are using UML, I'm guessing it's something odd going on between UML and libmm (maybe in dealing with sparse files, or something else?... I'm not sure). I'll give it a bit more of a hammer later on, but if downgrading libmm solves your problems (and I suspect it will), I'll reassign the bugs there. ... Adam Mark: Can you think of any reason why forcing MMFILE might lead to the symptoms described in the two bug reports CCd?
