i run amd64 debian, i use flash for some online games, my solution, I
installed ia32libs and installed seamonkey from their website into
/usr/local/lib as a 32 bit app and installed the 32bit flash player.

moral you can run 32 bit apps ontop of a 64 userland, with the right libraries.
