What I'm trying to say is that's not a matter of user configs, as I
tried with a freshly created test user and gnome doesn't work as well.

So, I must think there's something wrong on my system that prevent the
correct loading of gnome environement but I can't understand what or
which application is the culprit.

Window managers like Enlightenment work flawlessly...
