dont know about that.

but the ppc may lend itself more to stability given that the g3 isnt
backward compatible. so you basically have a legacy free arch, with the
added advantage of a limited pool of standard apple hardware.

perhaps the second point more than anything gives rise to increased
stability.

using PPC as main platform for kernel development. So everyting else
including i386 is a "port" from PPC.
