So how do you tell if a multia has this problem? I've got one I bought on ebay (sold as non-booting) for parts, and looking at the 74F623 chip, I see a sort of brown looking spot at the center -- does this mean that it burnt out? And, if so, I can repair the motherboard by just replacing it?
