If it doesn't detect your sound card, you need to find out if that is a
supported piece of hardware. If it has a driver you may have to install
it manually, which could be difficult unless you have a Braille device
or somebody to help.
Search for your sound hardware and see if somebody already has a
solution. If not, you may have to report it through the website.

Interestingly, the installer for Bookworm detects the card, but then
it has that problem I've already mentioned, where speech stops in the
middle of installation. Do you want me to burn another talking distro
to try grabbing some information on my soundcard?
