Hi David and All,
Thanks for the info on this.
When my friend ran it, he got some errors, this is in a Raspbian version of
Debian:

I got the zip file and when I go to that folder and runn the
install.sh this is what I get

Checking eSpeak : yes
Checking Voxin >= 2.0 : yes
Checking Speech-Dispatcher: yes
There are missing dependencies. Please run as superuser:
 bin/installDep.sh
The missing dependencies are listed in build/dep.txt

When I try and run it with sudo it says script ccannot be run as
super user.

Contact Gilles Casse.

I recommend using the oralux.org emacspeak installer because it gives you
speech in the console without any adjustments of configuration settings. It's
automatic.

One person objected to using the emacspeak installer because they didn't want
emacspeak.

Don't fight, just install using the installer.

You don't have to use emacspeak.

  Hello All,
With Voxin working with Orca in the desktop, and espeak-ng has not yet been
installed, is it possible to get espeakup to use Voxin TTS?
If so, does anyone here know how?
  Thanks.

  Glenn
