Using slint on the same computer to find the inaccessible unrecognized
sound card:

$ cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [HDMI           ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel HDMI
                      HDA Intel HDMI at 0xc1320000 irq 58
 1 [PCH            ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH
                      HDA Intel PCH at 0xc1324000 irq 50
 2 [Camera         ]: USB-Audio - USB Camera
                      USB Camera USB Camera at usb-0000:00:1d.0-1.6, high
speed

The second one (HDA Intel PCH ) is the one I want.

Any suggestions?

David
