Hi, I tried this with both a debian desktop environment and just the
standard system utilities with the same result. If I try to run espeak
with text when connected over ssh all I get is some static sounds for
about a second. What else can I try to see if the sound is working are

A user reports that although he has sound during installation (using
speech synthesis), there is no sound at reboot into the installed
system, although it looks like the audio levels seem correct. Any idea?
If Espeakup-ng and Orca are started at the same time, that might be
where the issue lies...
