Hello,
in Mate in Debian 10 for example in progress menu the buttons are not
labelled. It tells only button. Sometimes there is a problem when
working with panels.

quickly, they are uploading Mate 1.24 to sid and it is a high work. So
you will have to wait somewhat.
I dont understand why Pavel says there are accessibility problems in
Mate. What release does he talk about? What problems someone could
reproduce?

In Stretch itself no: the stability of Debian notably comes from
avoiding to include bleeding edge software :)
An option is MATE being uploaded in stretch-backports. I don't know if
the mate team plans to do that, I guess no, but I have Cc-ed the
team to
make sure.
