Hi, >From the bug you sent, I was able to determine where the keyboard shortcuts >are being overridden in Debian. See >https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-mate/mate-desktop-environment.git/tree/debian/10_mate-common.gschema.override. Looking at that file, we can see this. switch-windows-all='<Control><Alt>Tab' On a ifferent Linux distrobution that is using vanilla mate, we can see this through gsettings.
gsettings get org.mate.Marco.global-keybindings switch-windows-all 'disabled' gsettings get org.mate.Marco.global-keybindings switch-panels '<Control><Alt>Tab' So it appears Debian is reassigning the keyboard shortcut Control+Alt+Tab from switch-panels to switch-windows-all. This is in the master branch of packaging so I don't think there is a change for this in Sid. I know that we have some Debian Mate maintainers that are also upstream Mate developers so maybe if this is desired for some reason, it could be pushed upstream instead. I just think it helps everyone's sanity if we can keep keyboard shortcuts consistant across distrobutions if possible.
