Well, these are very old, and have other issues. The java wrapping has been quite revamped since then, so it's not useful to debug with those. Please instead keep the latest versions of libatk-wrapper-java (0.33.3-8), and to avoid the issue, comment the following line in java-8-openjdk/accessibility.properties: assistive_technologies=org.GNOME.Accessibility.AtkWrapper > Now Java works again.
