At this point I've already removed all the bluetooth related components from my desktop and kernel. My memory is that when I originally ran an 'aptitude why', gnome-orca was the result. Now that the system is clean, the response to 'apt-get install gnome-orca' says that libbluetooth3 is to be installed. Looking a bit further, the proximate cause for that is package 'xbrlapi', so you're right - I should have posted this against that package. I didn't notice it because encountered this upon removal, not install. Sorry. -- hkp://keys.gnupg.net CA45 09B5 5351 7C11 A9D1 7286 0036 9E45 1595 8BC0
