For me console-size is an key issue. I do:
DEBIAN_FRONTEND=readline dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
and it offers me a choice of sizes:
8x8, 8x14, 8x16, 16x28 (framebuffer only), 16x32 (framebuffer only)
I have 16x32 selected, the biggest, which gives me 129 chars per line.
I would like 80 characters per line...
Where you trying to use this line? Do you make tab in the main boot
screen ? (I have tried in VM without result)
