Hi, The problem is that eBook-speaker uses the Alsa sounddriver, but Alsa is overruled by pulseaudio. So the devices hw?: doesn't work.
The solution Start eBook-speaker with the option "-d default" and it should work. In the next version of eBook-speaker this will be done automatically if the devices hw* are locked. Regards, Jos.
