Hello list,
I just installed Debian testing with the talking installer and that is
great! I think that this is fantastic that Debian implemented this into
the installer. There are only 2 issues after the install. The first is
that the orca screen reader is not installed by default. It would be
appreciated if it could be installed by default because if you are using
the talking installer most likely you will need Orca once you have
rebooted into your system. The other issue I'm having is I'm trying to
install Orca and I can't find it to install. The package name used to be
gnome-orca but if I try to install this package apt can't find the
package. I went on the packages.debian.org site and tried to search for
orca there but I still couldn't find it. Does anyone know what the name
of the package is now? Thanks for your time and help.
