I am assuming you had python-atspi2 and libatk-bridge from experimental installed when you tried this? Additionally, I guess you did try relogin after enabling the gconf setting? If so, I wonder, does Orca get started automatically for you? Here, setting this key definitely made things work. You can also look at your gtk-modules settings by issuing: $ gconftool-2 -R /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/gtk-modules If anyone has already figured out how to convince gdm3 to not show a user_list but present me with a username input field as I am used to, I'd like to know. > On Wed, Aug 10, 2011 at 12:47:09PM +0200, Mario Lang wrote: >> Hi. >> >> I finally found why at-spi2 in experimental is not working as expected: >> We are missing a gconf schema which would tell gnome_settings_daemon >> that the atk-bridge GTK module needs to be loaded automatically for >> every application. >> >> A temporary fix for those wishing to experiment is as follows: >> >> $ gconftool-2 --set --type string >> /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/gtk-modules/atk-bridge >> /desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility -- CYa, ⡍⠁⠗⠊⠕ | Debian Developer <URL:http://debian.org/> .''`. | Get my public key via finger mlang/k...@db.debian.org : :' : | 1024D/7FC1A0854909BCCDBE6C102DDFFC022A6B113E44 `. `' `- <URL:http://delysid.org/> <URL:http://www.staff.tugraz.at/mlang/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-accessibility-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
