Hi, I have tested running orca -t for seting up my orca in textmode (kvm virtual machine). I was able to select speech-dispatcher and it started to talk after selecting espeak module. BTW.: I found no info s in your posted log that you have tried to select speech-dispatcher inside your orca. I see only gnomespeech and one ugly traceback for emacs speech server. Is speech-dispatcher listed together with gnomespeech on your system? BR. halim
