At least for me that solved the problem.

Do I need to get sighted help to configure Gnome before I can enter the Gnome terminal? I've not done anything with Gnome after the install, I just log in and type Alt+F2.

BTW, I'm using BRLTTY 3.7.2.
Can this version be a part of the problem?
