Pretty sure that's a problem with your qemu version, not with Debian/m68k. If we had such a problem that python3.8 was crashing, we would see lots of build failures on the buildds. I also just verified that python3-minimal updates just fine on my qemu-m68k test instance. Adrian -- .''`.
