So, I think that arch_get_kernel_flavour() needs to be patched to just always echo "m68k" in [1]. Compare this to amd64 [2]. The reason this needs to be changed is because Debian had separate kernels for the various m68k platforms in the past, i.e. there were -amiga, -atari, -mac and so on kernels. Nowadays, we only have a unified m68k kernel.
