Dear all, During Debian SunCamp [1] we have moved the debian-ports archive from the old leda.debian.net machine to a DSA administrated machine called porta.debian.org. The software managing the archive, mini-dak, is still the same, however the whole is now better integrated in the debian.org namespace and with the mirror system.
You will find the users visible changes below. APT archive ----------- The APT archive is now accessible on ftp.ports.debian.org [2], which maps to 2 machines, one in The Netherlands and one in the USA. Here are the corresponding sources.list line: deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian unstable main deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian unreleased main and possibly: deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian experimental main Redirections have been setup so that the old URLs still work, but they will not be kept permanently. In addition, given that the number of debian-ports users is relatively small, the mirror network has been dropped in favor of a CDN. It is not yet available, but it should be the case in the next hours or days. Please see the corresponding page for the details [3]. Uploading packages ------------------ People having upload rights should now upload packages to the ports-master.debian.org FTP server in the /incoming directory. CD images --------- CD images are now available on [4]. Again redirections have been setup. Web site -------- The debian-ports website is now available on [5] using HTTPS, and redirection from the various previous URL have been set up. The links and instructions on the web site have also been update, don't hesitate to report any broken link. We would like to thank to the DSA team and the SunCamp organizers for making that possible.
