The timeout is most likely a result of a bug in qemu-m68k which is used on the buildds vs90-vs93 since we have several issues with multithreading in qemu-m68k (which we don't have in Aranym but the emulaton is much slower there on the other hand). What you can do is actually try to reproduce the issue on your local machine by setting up an qemu-m68k sbuild setup following the guide in [1]. If you happen to spot a bug in qemu-m68k, please file it under its issue tracker on github [2].
