Hi *, when increasing the memory size in ARAnyM beyond 768 MiB FastRAM, things happen:
at 1000 MiB, the screen is trashed at 1024 MiB, the kernel panics (log attached) Probably a pagetable vs. 4 MiB problem. Kernel is loaded to ST-RAM. Would be cool to have a 3.8 GiB RAM buildd, though… bye, //mirabilos -- <igli> exceptions: a truly awful implementation of quite a nice idea. <igli> just about the worst way you could do something like that, afaic. <igli> it's like anti-design. <mirabilos> that too… may I quote you on that? <igli> sure, tho i doubt anyone will listen ;)
