The rootkit that got the boxen compromised? (half kidding only - that might 
have 
been dropped by whoever rooted the box in the first place though.)

Not sure whether what Crest uses is similar, but I converted Crest to use a 
standard AT power supply (salvaged the necessary connector from a dead AT 
board). Similar trick may work for ATX.
