Oh well... it took nearly two years until that specific machine arrived yesterday - finally! :)
It's an Amiga 4000 in a Micronik tower case (same as Crest, IIRC) with a Cyberstorm I 060/50 with just 48 MB RAM at the moment and SCSI module. There's a Hydra v1.1 NIC as well, which means that there's no TwistedPair connector, but I hope I can get a AUI transceiver soon. Although I've some spare SCSI disks, there's an IDE interface as well, but IIRC IDE was always terribly slow on Amiga, so I guess using SCSI would be better. I don't might have enough PS/2 RAM modules, though. 48 MB ought to be enough to install/setup the machine, but for running a buildd, I would need 4x 32 MB modules. Unfortunately a quick check revealed that there is no PS/2 RAM in stock at the online shops I checked in Germany. Anyway, I'll continue setting the machine up as a buildd. -- Ciao... // Fon: 0381-2744150 Ingo \X/ SIP: [EMAIL PROTECTED] gpg pubkey: http://www.juergensmann.de/ij_public_key.asc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
