IIRC Dirk not not maintaining octave2.1 anymore http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-octave-devel/2005-April/000338.html I don't remember what happened to r-base and friends, but he wanted to cut back on packages, and I hope it is not due to m68k... So lets ask the new octave maintainers if they want m68k kicked. IIRC Adam and me joined, so that there is an m68k contact, but I have been too lazy to sign up for the mailing list until now...
