I downloaded kernel-image-2.6.8-amiga_2.6.8-1_m68k.deb kernel-image-2.4.27-amiga_2.4.27-1_m68k.deb and installed them on the system I got by testing sarge-m68k-netinst.iso Both get the machine up and running (I had to do the 'decompress kernel'). XFree86 4.3 keeps crashing randomly when running 2.4.27, apart from that it looks quite well. I have a serial terminal hooked up, though which I can connect, but I can also ssh into it: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux debian 2.6.8-amiga #1 Sun Aug 29 10:50:26 CEST 2004 m68k GNU/Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uptime 20:34:00 up 5:04, 3 users, load average: 1.03, 1.04, 1.00 kernel properly detects Blizzard 2040 (and all 3 SCSI drives), X-surf ethernet, but not CV64/3D :( /var/log/kern.log (ignore date being Aug, it really booted in Sep ;) Aug 11 08:31:42 localhost kernel: Zorro: Probing AutoConfig expansion devices: 3 devices Aug 11 08:31:42 localhost kernel: fb0: Amiga OCS frame buffer device, using 256K of video memory Aug 11 08:31:42 localhost kernel: audit: initializing netlink socket (disabled) Erik
