Installing on Quadra 950

Hello all, I am trying to install debian woody on a Quadra 950, it get done with the base install ok however when I reboot It stops booting at “modprobe: Can’t locate module char-major-10-135”.  Now I have spent a few day prowling the internet for an answer and it seems that there is a problem with the real time clock on this and the Quadra 900 but I cant find a good workaround for it.  Does anyone have any ideas on this?  This is my first attempt at installing on the M68K architecture and I am still learning Linux little by little.      Jason Parvu
