No, debian-68k is the mailing list for Debian GNU/Linux running on
Motorola 68000-series processors.

You'd be pretty unhappy with your PowerBook G4's performance if it were
based on an m68k processor, even the fastest ones ever made.

Apple hasn't put an m68k processor in a Macintosh in at least ten years.

The list you are looking for is debian-powerpc.

I suggest using "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" instead of "XFree86
-configure" to configure the X server.  The folks on the debian-powerpc
list will have more tips.
