Hi!
Finally got the Quadra 950 working without having to manually reboot the machine.
I've asked a few questions about this before--thanks for the tips. But now the info has
finally sunk in and I found out where the bugs are in the startup and shutdown sequence
and just elimated them from occuring: i.e. the scripts calling for a hwclock --systohc.
I guess have a couple of questions? How does the system clock keep time if it does not
use the hardware clock?
What exactly is the problem with the 900 series? Why can't the system clock copy itself
to the hardware clock during shutdown and reboot?
