I don't have any problem with all that's proposed as long as it's up to the BoF organisers to opt against video streaming/live participation. However, I do disagree with this quoted point of view. Live participation and minutes are two separate things, and minutes of a meeting where decisions are made or plans hatched have more posterity and will help people who aren't available to participate live.
