I am not copying people over from old threads on purpose to gauge reaction to some extent. As you probably know, work on Summit is ongoing with cate and edrz expecting to finish work soon(tm). That will allow us, i.e. the content team, to open the CfP and CfR. I have been having one-on-one chats regarding future participation in the video team with both existing and new video team members. As that just swapped into public channels, now is a good time as any to announce that making sure we have enough core people and hardware will be the next focus point. On the plus side, things are looking better than just a few days ago. In case you didn't know already, Internet connectivity is almost fully solved as of right now. We need a last few meters of fiber in the ground and then will have a dedicated 10G link for our perusal during DC15. If fiber were not in the ground by DC15, I have a feeling that we will pull a single-mode fiber through a water hose and use that for a week.
