Dear all, I got an official letter of confirmation from the tax authorities today, stating that we are, in fact, a non-profit.
So in case you have not been following the IRC meetings: official registration, bank account, Debain Trusted Organization status and tax exemptions/benefits are in place, now. In effect, that means that the legal entity is fully up and running; and it only took half a year! This, in turn, means that it can finally disappear for most (not all) intents and purposes.
