Hello team, This is a follow-up from last global team meeting. We have now prices on hotel rooms from the two main venues being considered for DebConf12; Crowne Plaza and UCA. All prices are in USD dollars and includes 17% sales tax. These prices are not final/has not been negotiated between the hotels and the local team.
Some comments on the hotels/prices/options: * The hotels at the UCA venue are expensive because of the location; nicer area, next to the new Managua downtown, etc. * The hotels at the UCA venue are smaller. Most of them are family hotels with a total capacity of ~20 people. * There are three bigger hotels at the UCA venue area; Hotel Intercontinental, Hilton Princess and Hotel Seminole. Those three hotels can give us rooms for at least 100-150 people (total).
