Err. What kind of dynamic? And what exactly for stuff? And what of this part runs on the server, what on the client? It is always a really bad idea to split important conference bits away. And the past showed that it is double bad to have things on non debconf machines. And another point: WTH has noone asked for debconf11.debconf.net or something and wasted money on a .com? I personally vote against such a "redirect" unless there is a very good reason why it does not work on DebConf hardware. And if the reason is "Because it is non-free" then i vote just again to completly drop any reference from our official sites. Feel free to provide that as a personal service to users, but not official. I thought we had the stanca already on the lists about non-free stuff. (Just to make it clear: Its a nice page and I appreciate something like this being available. But routing around existing stuff so it will get lost afterwards[1] is just the wrong thing.) [1] Sorry, no matter what you intend to do with that domain later, at some point it or the data will get lost. Experience pays here from past debconfs. People move, servers die, and if that stuff is not on a project machine it gets hard for anyone else to jump in). -- bye, Joerg What do we need a psychiatrist for? We know our kid is nuts.
